Eemax Announces New President & CEO
Former GE Executive to Lead Connecticut-Based Manufacturer
July 11, 2009 – Oxford, CT -- Eemax, Inc., the market leader in commercial and residential electric tankless heaters, has appointed Kevin M. Ruppelt as President and CEO.
Ruppelt replaces Dave Corrado, who will stay with Eemax as an outside director.
During his 26-year executive career with General Electric, Ruppelt last served as GM for Water and Energy Management within GE’s Consumer and Industrial business. His other positions at GE included engineering, quality control, production planning, warranty management, international distribution, call center administration, sales & inventory planning, interactive marketing, eBusiness, and product management.
In his prior role, Ruppelt was instrumental in the achievement of operational improvements and the development of significant new water and water heating products.
“Kevin’s leadership and vision for progressive solutions in water and energy management will play an integral role in leading Eemax’s emergence from a commercially known brand to one that will resonate with consumers,” said Jeff Tobin, Operating Partner of the Riverside Company, the global private equity firm that acquired Eemax in 2008.
Ruppelt received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Detroit and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Louisville.
